  First things first. They serve beer!!
  
  Since moving to Cove, we frequent LD's for their two eggs hashbrowns and bacon breakfast quite a bit. Their hashbrowns are the best I have ever had, and I normally do not like hashbrowns. Most of their cooks excel at customizing their cooking, they will make my husband's bacon floppy.
  
  The best part about LDs is the community. It is super welcoming and we are glad it is in our little town.

  LD's is ok, the food is edible most if the time. The serve beer so if you have enough beer their food might be good.

  It's a quaint diner that's clearly a locals place. It was my first time and the omelette I had was pretty good. Service on the other hand was lacking. Once the food was on the table the waitress only came by once, as she finished serving people seated nearby, to see how the food was. So if you go, don't plan on a fancy location or superior service.

  This is a special place. A gem. Its old, well used, and most of all comfortable. Like your favorite pair of boots, or gloves. The food is very tasty. The staff is very personable. Overall its a great place to eat.
